ABAC 7.3.4.2 Waiver of Mandatory Fees
Students Enrolled in Internships
In accordance with USG BOR policy, ABAC will waive the following mandatory fees for students who are:
1. Enrolled in an internship program approved by the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. The Provost and VP may provide broad approval of internship programs offered by one of the College’s four academic schools, and
2. Not enrolled in ABAC courses other than internship, and
3. Not living on campus in ABAC housing.
4. Members of Armed Services utilizing tuition assistance programs or paying their own way to attend (BOR minutes, March 2016)
The following mandatory fees will be waived:
1. Athletic
2. Health
3. Activity
4. Access (Gold Card)
5. Safety
The following mandatory fees will not be waived:
1. Special Institutional Fee (as implemented and approved by the USG BOR).
2. Technology Fee.
ABAC students who are enrolled in courses totaling less than six (6) semester hours of credit in a single semester will be charged one half (1/2) the prevailing rate for the following approved mandatory fees:
1. Athletic
2. Health
3. Activity
4. Technology
These part-time (less than 6 semester hours) students will be charged the full prevailing rate for the following approved mandatory fees:
1. Access (Gold Card)
2. Public Safety
3. Special Institutional Fee (as implemented and approved by the USG BOR).
Students enrolled in ABAC’s Move on When Ready (MOWR) Program
All Mandatory Fees will be waived for MOWR students. The differential cost between in-state and eCore tuition will be waived. MOWR students are responsible for all course-related fees.
