ABAC 7.4 -- Fundraising and Solicitations

ABAC personnel, programs, and units engage in fundraising efforts.  Private and corporate support is essential to accomplishing the College’s mission.  The College’s responsibility is to set the fundraising priorities and to coordinate with ABAC 's Office of College Advancement.

ABAC’s Office of College Advancement (OCA) is prepared to assist and advise ABAC personnel in fundraising.  The OCA identifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards individual, corporate, and foundation gifts to The ABAC Foundation, Inc. 

Fundraising by faculty, staff, alumni, ABAC Foundation Trustees, and ABAC Alumni Association Board members shall be coordinated and pre-approved by the OCA.  Fundraising efforts should support the College’s strategic plan.

Fundraising by students, regardless of where deposited or future use of funds raised, shall be coordinated and approved by the Dean of Students, who shall have the responsibility of coordination with OCA, when appropriate.
